My desktop and OS are set to have the best of the Windows and macOS layouts and functionality have to offer. Linux is great that way, start with a stock option, then customize to your wants and needs, the basis for my OS is Gnu/Linux > Ubuntu > MATE > Pantheon. Marco is the Window manager.
