A 12-year-old girl from Ethiopia was brutally kidnapped and beaten by 7 men, until a pride of lions appeared and chased the men away. The animals stayed by the girl's side protecting her until help arrived to rescue her.
The girl, whose name was not released, walked home from school on June 9, 2005. Until the men kidnapped her and she disappeared for several days.
