Ode to May

 

May, the month of fresh beginnings,
As spring flowers blossom in full bloom.
Birds chirp sweetly, nature is winning,
And warmth creeps in, dispelling gloom.

The air is filled with fragrance sweet,
Of lilacs, lilies, and freshly mowed lawns.
The sun is shining bright and neat,
And everyone is enjoying the new dawn.

May is a time of growth and renewal,
Of green leaves, and new life to unfold.
The earth is alive, full of potential,
And the colors of nature are bright and bold.

So let us welcome this lovely month,
With open hearts and joyous glee.
May it bring peace, love, and growth,
And all the beauty that we long to see.
