Because your actions are even hurting Ronald McDonald.
Yes, the friendly McDonald’s mascot – that harmless symbol of global capitalism – has had to dial down his public appearances lest people think he is about to come at them screaming with a baseball bat.
‘McDonald’s and franchisees in the local markets are mindful of the current climate around clown sightings in communities and as such are being thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald’s participation in community events for the time being,’ a spokesman said.
