A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.
During the night the folks came across this scene.
An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort. No one had the heart to send him away so he was there all night.
We should all have the good sense of this dog and curl up in Jesus' lap from time to time.
No one mentioned that the dogs breed is a "shepherd!"

Hi,
Why is it that everyone is so excited by an abandoned dog's good sense ... and yet not one of you has done your homework and told us WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT ABANDONED DOG???
That's what really important here ... not using the random action of one of God's favored sons to remind the rest of us to curl up in God's lap. If we do, what will happen? What happened to that dog that curled up in "God's lap"? Did he find his forever home? That is what would give the story the ending and the meaning you all are trying to convey ... yes?
