La Presse en RoseTeens accused of killing gay man in “Clockwork Orange”-like attack
By Ruth Schneider, 365gay.com

Two drunk teenage girls in London are accused of kicking a man so hard during a homophobic attack that the victim died, the Times reported.

Ruby Thomas and Rachel Burke

Ruby Thomas and Rachel Burke, both 18, attacked Ian Baynham, repeatedly stomping on his chest and kicking him in the head, after the teen’s 19-year-old accomplice, Joel Alexander, punched him, knocking him unconscious, a British judge was told.

Bayman, a gay man, was walking with a friend who said the teens shouted homophobic slurs prior to the violent attack.

“One onlooker likened the level of violence to a scene from the film ‘A Clockwork Orange,’ ” Brian Altman, legal counsel for the prosecution, told jurors. “What happened was an all too familiar and depressing tale of drunken, loutish behavior. But what they did went far beyond mere antisocial conduct.”

“Remarkably, two of these defendants are teenage girls. Fueled by copious amounts of alcohol, all three jointly participated in a violent attack on a defenseless man in public,” Altman said.

Teen can now wear “gay gay” shirt to school

By Ruth Schneider, 365gay.com

The American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee and Lambda Legal said Monday they have received assurances that a student wearing T-shirts printed with pro-gay slogans won’t be censored. The school also will train staff on the anti-bullying policy to avoid harassment of any student.

Cole Goforth, a freshman at Greenbrier High School, was sent home from school April 5 for wearing an “I (heart) Lady Gay Gay” T-shirt he purchased at a local mall. He and his mother contacted the ACLU and Lambda Legal after being told his attire – and any pro-gay messages – were “disruptive.” I Love Lady Gay Gay

In addition, Goforth said he was the victim of daily harassment at school including threats of violence. He was told by one school employee that he had “brought [harassment] on himself by coming out.”

“Sending Cole home for wearing a shirt with the word ‘gay’ on it not only trampled this student’s right to freedom of expression, but also sent a destructive message to all students that there is something wrong with being gay or even saying the word ‘gay,’ ” said Lambda Legal attorney Beth Littrell in a statement. “We are pleased that school officials have recognized their obligation to respect pro-LGBT speech and to protect students from anti-gay harassment instead of allowing bullies to silence speakers.”

City in Wyoming: Anti-gay message will stay

By The Associated Press

(Casper, Wyo.) Casper officials say an anti-gay sign painted on a homeowner’s fence near a high school will be allowed to remain because there’s nothing the city can or should do about it.

Chris Trumbull painted the words “Leviticus 20:13, To be gay equals death” on his fence. Trumbull says the message is the Bible’s, not his.

Trumbull’s property sits along a route between Roosevelt High School and the Boys & Girls Club where dozens of high school students pass every day. City Code Enforcement Supervisor Shelley LeClere says the city asked Trumbull to remove the message, but he declined.

Councilman Keith Goodenough says he didn’t think it was the city’s place to “draw the line.”

Gay Or Not, Justin Beiber Still Sucks

By Ben, Guaxin.com

Can I make a prediction? This 16-year-old singer, Justin Beiber, who I suffered through listening to on Saturday Night Live, will one day come out of the closet, ala Ricky Martin, and declare he’s gay.

Now, that’s not a problem, as no Gunaxin writer is homophobic. However, we hate lousy, catchy, sell-to-pre-teen-girls music, and Justin Beiber is a glaring example of it, following such popcorn acts as New Kids on the Block and N-Sync.

The Internet is already buzzin’ about Beiber’s homosexuality, as people keep asking ‘Is he?‘ on Yahoo Answers and Wiki Answers. In fact, a rumor came out that he told Oprah that he’s gay but there was no merit to the report.

Regardless, I’m willing to bet he’s popular within the gay community, and he will one day end up on topgaysongs.com. In the meantime, regardless of his sexual preference, Gunaxin stands firm on disliking this lousy music. Bad music is bad music.

But if it’s true, here’s how it will play out:

I think Justin's singing stinks. and yeah he is tryin too hard to look like he is not gay, so I bet you are right about him and Ricky Martin. But I read and numerous sources say that Justin has never ever been on Harpo, however she is doing a call out for Justin's fans to get a crazy audience when he does come on her show.

Did I meantion he can's sing? lol
