TORONTO -- A Brampton lotto winner's luck ran out just minutes after he picked up a cheque for nearly $4.4 million.
Barry Shell, 45, was arrested outside of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming headquarters at Bay and Dundas Sts. on Monday after claiming his jackpot.
Shell was wanted on an arrest warrant after he didn't show up for a 2003 court date to face previous charges of possession of stolen property and theft under $5,000, Peel Regional Police Const. JP Valade said.
