Alan Alda did a cartwheel when he headed down the aisle to receive an Emmy.
He did it in his tuxedo, in 1979, when he was awarded his first Emmy in the writing category (on his third nomination). Honored for his work on the TV sitcom M*A*S*H, Alda is the only person to win Emmys for acting, directing, and writing.
