This picture is of cracks found during routine inspections of a Canadian Armed Forces Sea King helicopter from Shearwater's HS423 Squadron. Pilots and crew of these helicopters were seriously alarmed (and rightly so) when this information was released.
They were especially concerned because the cracks weren't found in just one location. There were several in key structural areas.
Its amazing. You can see them from 100 feet away!
This is serious stuff.
