TRUE or FALSE? - DOUBLE PLAY!!

Some highly intelligent chimpanzees have been trained to speak a few words of English.

It’s not possible for chimpanzees to speak English or any other human language, because their vocal chords and throats are very different from ours. However, many chimps have learned to use their hands to speak in American Sign Language and some have been trained to use a specially designed computer keyboard. The keys of the keyboard have geometric shapes and symbols instead of letters, and the chimps use them to build words and sentences.

France was the first country to make a full-length feature film.

Australia led the way to longer movies worldwide with The Story of the Kelly Gang (1906), a movie about a famous Australian bushranger (an outlaw living in the Australian bush) named Ned Kelly. Clocking in at just over an hour, it was much longer than other movies of that period. Until The Story of the Kelly Gang, movie lovers were deemed to have very short attention spans, and movies were kept at five to ten minutes so the audience wouldn’t get bored.
