Earth Hour 60 Tonight

Earth Hour 60 is tonight at 830PM in your local timezone. The Wizard and his partner Dwight observe Earth Hour every year. We turn off all lights (including the aquarium lights), We just talk, with no distractions, by candlelight. It's a great way to pass the time. One hour is nothing to participate in. Awesome to get a benefit while participating in Earth Hour 60.

Earth Hour

There are several ways to participate in Earth Hour:

  1. Turn off non-essential lights and electronics for one hour: This is the most common way to participate in Earth Hour. Simply turn off any lights or electronics that you don't need for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time on the last Saturday in March.

  2. Spread the word: Use your social media platforms to share information about Earth Hour and encourage others to participate. You can also talk to your friends and family members about the importance of taking action to address climate change.

  3. Organize an event: If you're part of a community group or organization, consider organizing an event for Earth Hour. This could be anything from a candlelit dinner to a public gathering where people can share their thoughts and ideas about sustainability.

  4. Reduce your energy consumption: Earth Hour is just one hour, but you can make a bigger impact by reducing your energy consumption throughout the year. This could include things like turning off lights when you leave a room, using energy-efficient appliances, and taking public transportation or walking instead of driving when possible.

  5. Donate to environmental organizations: Consider making a donation to an environmental organization that is working to address climate change and protect the planet. This is a great way to support the cause and make a difference even if you can't participate in Earth Hour itself.
