2013 has been a damn good year for the Give a Damn Campaign and the True Colors Fund! Joe Moran, our new Communications and Technology Director, has taken the reigns of the Give a Damn Campaign and will be working to make it even bigger and better than ever. Stay tuned – there's plenty more to come!
Also, Jama Shelton joined the True Colors Fund earlier this year as the project director for our sister program, the Forty to None Project. The creation of the position is part of the True Colors Fund’s expanded commitment to giving a voice to the up to forty percent of 1.6 million homeless youth who identify as gay or transgender — and marks the first position of its kind on the national level.
Jama and Joe are the newest hires in an expanded True Colors Fund leadership team, joining our executive director Gregory Lewis. With more than thirty-five years of combined experience in nonprofit management and innovation behind it, the Give a Damn Campaign will be able to continue to grow and inspire even more people to get informed, get involved, and give a damn about equality!
