Although presenters are usually announced beforehand as an additional enticement to get viewers interested in watching the Academy Awards, this year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is making viewers wait until the night of the ceremony to find out which stars will be present onstage. “There will be fantastic movie stars that appeal to a whole range of movie lovers and fans of our show,” spokesperson Leslie Unger says. “We’re just not going to tell you who they all are.” At least the host, Hugh Jackman, isn’t a secret. The Academy Awards will air live on February 22 beginning at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
