(Saskatoon, SK) As a college, St. Andrew's has been committed to a long process of involving the Faculty, Students, Staff, Alumni/ae, Academic Committee, Board and friends in study, worship and discussion in order to be declared an Affirming Ministry of The United Church of Canada.
In May 2008 the Board agreed that they should ask Affirm United of The United Church of Canada declare St. Andrews College an Affirming Ministry. Affirm United declared St. Andrew's College an Affirming Ministry on February 7, 2009.
On March 24th, 2009, they committed themselves to continue efforts to self-examination and reflection as individuals and as a community to these important issues.
