Quick Fact
The Habs (coming from "Les Habitants")- is the name used to refer to both the French settlers and the inhabitants of French origin who farmed the land along the two shores of the St. Lawrence Gulf and River in what is the present-day Province of Quebec in Canada.
People think they see it referenced in the centre of the logo for The Montreal Canadiens.
In actual fact, the stylized 'C' and 'H' refers to "DU CLUB DE HOCKEY CANADIEN"
GO HABS!!!!
And to the fans... STOP embarrassing Canada!
