PHARMACY ROBBERY
A couple of thieves wearing ski masks robbed a small town pharmacy. Fortunately, there were no injuries and all they succeeded in getting away with was the pharmacy's supply of Viagra.
Local police are on the lookout for the hardened criminals !

Four retired guys are walking down a street in Yorkton. Then they turn a corner and see a sign that says: Old Timer's Bar ALL DRINKS 10 CENTS!
They look at each other, and then go in. The old bartender says in a Voice that carries across the room, 'Come on in and let me pour one for you, what'll it be, Gentlemen?'
There seems to be a fully stocked bar, so the men all ask for a martini.
In short order, the bartender serves up 4 iced martinis - and says, 'That'll be 10 cents each, please.'
They can't believe their good luck. They pay the 40 cents, finish their Martinis, and order another round. Again, four excellent martinis are produced with the bartender again saying, 'That's 40 more cents, please.'
They pay the 40 cents, but their curiosity is more than they can stand.
They've each had two martinis and so far they've spent less than a dollar.
Finally one of the men couldn't stand it any longer and asks the Bartender 'How can you afford to serve martinis as good as these for a dime apiece?'
'Here's my story. I'm a retired farmer from Regina, and I always wanted To own a bar. Last year I hit the lottery for $25 million and decided to Open this place. Every drink costs a dime, wine, liquor, beer, all the same.'
'Wow. That's quite a story' says one of the men. The four of them sipped at their martinis and couldn't help but notice three other guys at the end of the bar who didn't have a drink in front of them, and hadn't ordered anything the whole time they were there. One man gestures at the three at the end of the bar without drinks and asks the Bartender, 'What's with them?'
The bartender says, 'They're Winnipegers, they're waiting for Happy Hour.'

It's a little known fact that sentences containing every letter of the alphabet are called 'pangrams', or 'holalphabetic sentences'.

An elderly lady with a dog, called The SaskTel phone company to say that her telephone failed to ring when her friends called; and that on the few occasions when it did ring her dog always barked before the phone rang.
The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile elderly lady. He climbed a nearby telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house. The phone didn't ring but the dog barked loudly and then the telephone did ring. Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground post via an iron chain and collar.
2. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the phone number was called.
3. After several such jolts, the dog would start barking and urinate on the ground.
4. The wet ground would complete the circuit and the phone would ring.
Which shows you that some problems can be fixed by just pissing on them.
A man tried to phone the King of the Jungle.
All he got was a recorded message saying, "All the lions are busy right now. Please try later."

A man is driving down a country road, when he spots a farmer standing in the middle of a huge field of grass. He pulls the car over to the side of the road and notices that the farmer is just standing there, doing nothing, looking at nothing.
The man gets out of the car, walks all the way out to the farmer and asks him, "Ah excuse me mister, but what are you doing?"
The farmer replies, "I'm trying to win a Nobel Prize."
"How?" asks the man, puzzled.
"Well I heard they give the Nobel Prize to people who are out standing in their field."

Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks.
They charged one and let the other one off.

Two tall trees are growing in the woods. A small tree begins to grow between them. One tree says to the other, "Is that a son of a beech or a son of a birch?"
The other says he cannot tell. Just then a woodpecker lands in the sapling. The tall tree says, "Woodpecker, you are a tree expert. Can you tell if that is a son of a beech or a son of a birch?"
The woodpecker takes a taste of the small tree. He replies, "It is neither a son of a beech nor a son of a birch. That, my friends, is the best piece of ash I have ever put my pecker in."

A pheasant was standing in a field chatting to a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of yonder tree' sighed the pheasant 'but I haven't got the energy'.
'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull 'They're packed with nutrients.'
The pheasant pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. And so on. Finally, after a fortnight, he was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
Whereupon he was spotted by a farmer who dashed into the farmhouse, emerged with a shotgun, and shot the pheasant right out of the tree.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
One day a nun was standing on the side of the road waiting for a cab. A cab stopped and picked her up. During the ride she noticed that the driver was staring at her.
When she asked him why, he said, "I want to ask you something, but I don't want to offend you."
She said, "You can't offend me. I have been a nun long enough that I have heard just about everything."
The cab driver then said, "Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun give me a blow job."
She said, "Well, perhaps we can work something out under two conditions. You have to be single, and you have to be Catholic."
Immediately the cab driver said, "Oh, yes! I'm single and I'm Catholic!"
The nun said, "Okay, pull into that alley."
The cab driver pulled into the alley and the nun went to work. Shortly afterwards, the cab driver started crying.
The nun said, "My child, what's the matter?"
He said tearfully, "Sister, I have sinned. I lied, I lied...I'm married and I'm Jewish!"
The nun replied, "That's okay. My name's Bruce and I'm on my way to a costume party!"

Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor.
- Alexis Carrel, French Nobel Prize-winning surgeon (1873-1944)
We should every night call ourselves to an account: What infirmity have I mastered today? What passions opposed? What temptation resisted? What virtue acquired? Our vices will abate of themselves if they be brought every day to the shrift.
- Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Roman writer (54 BC - 39 AD)
"I have done my best." That is about all the philosophy of living one needs.
- Lin Yutang, Chinese writer, inventor (1895-1976)
Let us be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die, so let us be thankful.
- Siddhartha Gautama, Indian spiritual teacher, founder of Buddhism (563-483 BCE)
My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived and let me watch him do it.
- Clarence Buddinton Kelland, writer (1881-1964)
Apologies that merit forgiveness reflect the ethical virtues of respect and responsibility. They show respect because they express a sincere, deeply held regret for the way injury was caused and responsibility because the apologizer is not only sorry but will not do it again.
- Michael Josephson
