So Alphabet Inc's Google is now 25. 25 years ago we would not have thought that Google would be so entwined in our lives. Truly amazing. Even a verb has been created "Googling". I personally do not use Google as I am using DuckDuckGo. (no trackers, lol).
When asked about the color choices, Kadar (from Google) said: “There were a lot of different color iterations. We ended up with the primary colors, but instead of having the pattern go in order, we put a secondary color on the 'L,' which brought back the idea that Google doesn’t follow the rules.”
But you can't argue with success. In fact Google is a damn good search engine. But they also have other cool things under the Google umbrella - Google Translate for one. I have a button on 'OZ' that will allow readers to translate into most languages!
So, Happy Birthday Google! Here's hoping you will be around for the next 25 years!
