The end of July draws near,
The sun shines bright, the air is clear.
The heat of summer, it persists,
But soon the season will be missed.
The fields of green and gold sway,
As the gentle breeze begins to play.
The days are long, the nights are warm,
But soon a change will take the form.
The flowers bloom, the bees they hum,
As the butterflies go on the run.
The earth is vibrant, full of life,
But soon it will fall from its height.
The children play and laugh with glee,
As they run wild and carefree.
The water sparkles, the sand is hot,
But soon it will be time to stop.
The birds they chirp, the crickets sing,
As the day turns to evening.
The stars shine bright, the moon is full,
But soon this scene will lose its pull.
The days go by, they slip away,
As the end of July holds sway.
The memories made will stay in mind,
As we leave the summer months behind.
The end of July, it marks a change,
As the season takes a different range.
But memories made will always last,
As we move on to the next task.
