The End of June

See You Later June

As June comes to a close,
And the days stretch out so long,
We bid farewell to the rose,
And welcome summer's song.

The sun beats down so hot,
As we seek shade from its glare,
The air is thick and fraught,
With the scent of summer's air.

The ocean's waves crash in,
As we frolic in the sand,
With the sun on our skin,
We feel life is so grand.

The skies are blue and clear,
As we take to the open road,
With the summer's warmth so near,
We shed off our heavy load.

The flowers are in bloom,
In every shade and hue,
With the bees and butterflies,
Dancing their summer's cue.

The ice cream truck comes by,
And we eagerly line up in the sun,
To cool off with a sweet, icy sigh,
And enjoy summer's fun.

The nights are filled with stars,
As we gather 'round the fire,
With marshmallows on skewers,
And stories that never tire.

So let us embrace this time,
As we bid June farewell,
And celebrate the summer's prime,
With all its joys to tell.
