Success
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Education
"Education is the Manifestation of the Perfection that is already in Man"
- Swami Vivekananda -
Live UR Life
Be a rose which gives fragrance even to those who crushes it.
COUNTING THE UNCOUNTABLE
There are those that not only count their chickens before they hatch, they even count their eggs before theyre laid.
Green Thumb
Keeping up an active hobby such as gardening when older may be one way to keep your mind young. Studies show that older people that regularly indulged in gardening have a lower risk of dementia compared to non-active older people.
How to give your child positive feedback
Done correctly, positive feedback motivates, nurtures independence, boost self-esteem and helps set reasonable expectations for your child.
Thats why its important to praise children of all ages. However, the way to offer praise should differ depending on the childs age. While its OK to high-five your 2-year-old when she puts her socks on for the first time, you dont want to cheer on your 9-year-old for dressing himself.
For toddlers, positive feedback should take the form of praise for good behavior and new accomplishments. As they grow older, praise the efforts and progress they make toward goals.
