Kurt from 'Glee'Kurt gets a boyfriend.

“Glee,” the Fox Network show that just won best comedy series at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, plans to have a gay romance in season 2, according to a report on EW.com.

“We just announced we’re doing a nationwide search for the season 2 cast, and [a boyfriend for Kurt is] one of the three roles that we’re adding. And we’re going to make them a power couple. We’re not going to do the whole hiding in the shadows thing. We’re going to make them popular, and out and proud and glamorous. Like prom king and king. We’re doing the opposite of what’s been done,” Ryan Murphy, the mastermind behind the popular television show, told the Web site Monday.

A host of other scoops for the upcoming season were also revealed in the interview. Jane Lynch’s character Sue Sylvester will be “Vogue-ing” in an upcoming Madonna episode. Murphy also said he plans to reunite the odd couple romance of Rachel and Puck.

And a slew of stars are interested in cameos on the show.

“We got Olivia [Newton-John],” Murphy told EW.com. “She’s going to come on and do ‘Physical’ with Jane Lynch. Jennifer Lopez wants to do the show, so I’m going to meet with her.”
