Found only in Ethiopia's Simien Mountains, the gelada—also called the bleeding-heart baboon, for the distinctive red patch on its chest—is the last surviving species of grazing monkey in the world. The gelada demonstrates more types of vocalization and behavior patterns than any other animal but humans.
