The Assiniboine Park miniature steam train. The train, the American 4-4-0, was built in 1964 out of Wyano, Penn. by the Crown Metal Corporation. It chugs along in Assiniboine Park. Talk about built to last!

This train was NOT built for the CNR, the one built for the CNR is the 6043 on display in the south east corner of the park. It was the last CNR steam engine in service.

This small 24" gauge tourist train was built in 1964 and has been owned and operated by the same family ever since.

This coal burning steam train is an institution in Assiniboine Park. It is one of a kind.
