The guy that is getting bullied is doing all the name calling.
I am reminded of a schoolyard where a hat (or binder or whatever) is being tossed back and forth with the hapless owner running back and forth, getting more and more frustrated. Is this bullying? If so, it is pretty low key...I would put it in the realm of vandalism, and low key vandalism at that!
My experiences in school with bullying were a lot more visceral, and painful, and though they would often start in much this same way, they swiftly progressed to violence. There is no violence here. And having been at the receiving end of some serious character assassination both in school and since, I have to say that compared to THAT, this is pretty much nothing.
I saw a fella spit on a quarter before giving it to a beggar once. I don't think that was bullying either...but I don't know what else to call it.
You are right as usual, Stag... He was calling them names and escalated the issue himself!
