According to TMZ.com, American Idol Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken, 29, is going to be a father. Multiple sources told the gossip site that the mother is Jaymes Foster, a 50-year-old record producer and Clay’s best friend. He lives at her home when he’s in Los Angeles. Foster, who is divorced, has produced several of Aiken’s albums. She’s due to give birth in August. She’s the younger sister of Canadian composer David Foster, who co-penned (with Aiken) and produced a song on Aiken’s latest album, On My Way Here. Aiken will have an active role in raising the child. It’s believed Foster was artificially inseminated.
