TRUE or FALSE? YOU DECIDE!

An ostrich’s intestines are 46 feet long.

Yep. 46 feet long, stretched out. (In adult humans, the intestines are about 25 feet long.) Ostriches eat tough plants that other animals can’t digest, and need their long intestines to absorb as many nutrients as possible. They swallow sand and pebbles to help break down the food.
