The commando singer has been lampooned by satirists, comedians and in general just water cooler jokesters all across America. And live on Tuesday night, actresses like Jennifer Aniston and that Halle Berry were joking that they were ''glad they wore panties" as they received their awards.

Both stunning leading ladies that are, like Britney, prime paparazzi targets playfully noted that they were covered underneath their adorable and sexy outfits and even tried to give an assist to poor Britney.

Aniston, appearing in a flowing short skirt, took the elevated stage and looked down at the fans directly below her. She flashed her famous grin and said, "Man, I tell you, it's a lucky thing we do wear underwear, huh?" Jennifer took the stage to collect her award for favorite female movie star.

Berry, in a stunning Gucci-designed skirt cut high across her thighs, thanked God for remembering her underclothes, and comedian Robin Williams -- named funniest male star -- said about Berry: "Thank God for having her wear that dress ... Britney -- underwear -- remember that." Halle earned the award for best female action star for her role in "X Men: The Last Stand."

Britney did grab an award for herself on Tuesday. The Malibu mom topped Mr. Blackwell's 'Worst-dressed' for the second straight year. For 2006, she was joined by former friend Paris Hilton.

Winners Of 2007 People's Choice Awards Revealed

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Several awards honoring artists from television, music and film were handed out at the 2007 People's Choice Awards on Tuesday night. Johnny Depp, however, swept the board as the people's favorite.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star took home three prizes, Best Male Star, Best Male Action Star and Best Onscreen Match-Up with co-star Keira Knightley.

In his acceptance speech for the Best Male Star award, Depp paid tribute to his fans.

He said, "I know that I've said this before but the fact that this award comes from the people makes it all the more special. And thanks for keeping me employed, yeah? You're the boss."

Swashbuckling sequel "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" was also named Best Movie and Best Drama at the 33rd annual ceremony held at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.

Among the other winners were Jennifer Aniston, who was awarded Best Female Star, and her ex-boyfriend and "The Break-Up" co-star Vince Vaughn, who walked away with the Best Leading Man award.

Adam Sandler's film "Click" was voted Best Movie Comedy, while Robin Williams picked up the Funniest Male Star award.

In the television category, "Grey's Anatomy" was named Best Drama, while country star Carrie Underwood scooped Best Female Singer in the music vote.

The People's Choice Awards are voted for solely by film and television viewers.
