Fears of salmonella contamination drove chocolate-maker Hershey to recall a number of chocolate bars and candies made at its Smiths Falls, Ont. plant. Products recalled by Hershey Inc. bear date codes 6417 to 6455. The codes can be found on the back of each product.

The CFIA advises consumers who have purchased bulk products between Oct. 15 and Nov. 10 to speak with the retailer to see if the products bear the recalled date codes.
