FlexiMusic Wave Editor - AUDIO EDITOR - A Review

The Wizard does a fair amount of audio work, both for 'OZ' as well as working with my Mp3's, wave files, and wma's. As such, I need an editor that makes conversions easy. Also, effects, reverbs, etc, and volume leveling - I mean if I am going to have a song play on a web page, I don't want the loudness to blow you outta yer chair, eh?

I have a few sound editor programs, but this one in particular seems to have everything that I need, and all in one program! I can now get rid of the other editors. The FlexiMusic Editor does it all and then some!

While it may seem daunting at first, if you haven't used an audio editor, the controls are laid out well and fairly easy to pick up. The help is also very good.

You will also need the Lame decoder which is available here.

I was easily able to change volumes, add effects and generally play with the files. I especially like the"UNDO" as sometimes the effect chosen doesn't reflect what you really wanted to do and the easy "UNDO" allows you to recover from your mistakes quickly.

The Editor is available in several colour schemes and you get to choose these during setup. Setup was simple and straightforward. The FlexiMusic Wave Editor uses a fair amount of resources, but this is not unusual for an audio editing software. In any case, it runs well on The Wizard's PC, ( 1.8GHZ AMD Sempron, 1 GB RAM, and a 256 MB ATI Power Color 9550 Video Graphics AGP)

Overall The Wizard gives the FlexiMusic Wave Editor 5/5.
